Chelsea Gibbs, MT-BC (she/her/hers)
Chelsea is the founder of Central Kentucky Creative Therapies. She holds bachelor's degrees in Music Performance and Music Education and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Music Therapy as well as a graduate certificate in Developmental Disabilities and certification in NICU Music Therapy.
Chelsea brings to the table a wealth of experience with adults and children in a variety of settings including:

PreK-12 music education

Private music education in piano and guitar

In-home and longterm care facility services to individuals receiving palliative or rehabilitative care including those with traumatic brain injuries

Direct service with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Chelsea completed her internship with Edge Music Therapy where she primarily worked with older adults and individuals with disabilities. However, she serves all ages and populations.

Heather Marsh-Prelesnik, (she/her/hers)
Vocal and Performance Coaching/ Audition Preparation, Beginner-Advanced Voice Lessons
Heather hails from a musical family. She began her singing career at age 9 with the Kalamazoo Children's Chorus. This led her to her first overseas tour at age 12, with the KCC select choir, tour through Japan. Heather has participated in musical theatre from childhood through college taking the lead in shows ranging from "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" to "Hair". Heather studied Elementary Ed and voice in college and from there toured with Missoula Children's Theatre for six years, casting, directing, and performing across the United States and throughout Europe. She is happy to have landed in Lexington and is honored to share her gifts and talents with the greater community.
Heather has sang professionally in cities such as Chicago, Honolulu, Los Angeles/North Hollywood, and Southwest Michigan. There she was a founding member of the South West Michigan Taize Collective which toured all of southwest Michigan and was featured in the national Sacred Music Festival.

Heather Marsh-Prelesnik brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Kentucky and Central Kentucky Creative Therapies. Voice lessons begin at age 8-adulthood.

Services Offered by Heather:
Heather offers voice lessons from beginner-advanced, vocal coaching, performance coaching, diction and projection skills, microphone skills, recording and studio vocal coaching, audition preparation for vocal students, dancers, actors, and models, public speaking skills, performance/special events coaching, and monologue preparation.

Erin Batkiewicz, MM, MT-BC (she/her/hers)
Board-Certified Music Therapist and Lesson Instructor
Erin holds a master's degree in music therapy from The University of Kentucky. She uses a trauma-informed approach and is passionate about using the power of music's effects on the brain and body to build towards a place of comfort, calm, and connection. She has over 10 years of experience in the field as a music therapist and 15 years as as a music educator! She has worked with all ages and abilities and in many settings including pediatric inpatient psych, addiction recovery, and private practice settings.
During undergrad, Erin majored in piano performance and psychology and studied at a music conservatory for a semester. Prior to becoming a music therapist, Erin worked as a singer/songwriter in Nashville, TN and uses that experience in her daily practice as a therapist and music instructor.

Erin also teaches traditional and adaptive lessons in piano, guitar, and voice.

Fun facts about Erin, she is a mom to 2 beautiful children. She is in a craft club and is certified in therapeutic journaling.

Sara Weathers, MRC (she/her/hers)
Summer Camp Director
Sara holds a bachelors' degree in Psychology from Union College as well as a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky.

She has worked for more than ten years with individuals with disabilities in various roles including job placement, job development, teaching adult education classes, being a vocational counselor and case manager.
​
She has an 8-year old son who she has homeschooled for his entire elementary career. Together, they love to explore nature and visit new places.

Bryan Henry (he/him/his)
Guiar/Voice/Piano Instructor
Bryan Henry is from southern Ohio and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University. He holds a bachelor of arts degree with a focus on composition and music theory. He is a classically trained musician who excels in playing music in many styles. He teaches beginner-advanced guitar, voice, and piano lessons.
Bryan has been teaching music lessons for over 25 years! He began teaching lessons at the age of 14 in his mother's music studio and has been teaching ever since.

Fun facts about Bryan- he is a huge gamer, a fitness buff, and loves to cook for his family!
Cameron Dewald, MT-BC (he/him/his)

He is currently completing his master's degree in music therapy at the University of Kentucky. Additionally, Cameron holds an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts (Jazz Studies) from the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio. His philosophy is to provide client-centered care that highlights each individual's uniqueness and fosters a sense of community and belonging.
